This two year certification course will cover Adult, Child, and Infant CPR, Choking, use of barrier devices including bag valve masks, and AED training. Cost $40.00 Heartsaver CPR This course is for the lay responder and is ideal for those whose workplace requires certification such as daycares, fitness centers, and organizations who deal with the general public. This two year certification course will cover Adult, Child, and Infant CPR, Choking and may be taken with or without AED training. Cost (includes student textbook) $35.00 This basic First Aid course is for anyone wanting certification due to a work requirement or personal interests. This is also a great class for parents, babysitters and those who enjoy outdoor activities! This is a two year certification. Learn to recognize life threatening emergencies such as heart attack, stroke, shock, burns, diabetes, seizures and allergic reactions. Cost (includes student textbook) $50.00 Heatrsaver Pediatric First Aid & CPR This course is designed to meet the specific needs of child daycare workers in all 50 states. It is ideal for those invoved in child care who have a duty to respond o a first aid emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements, such as child care workers, teachers, foster care providers, camp counselors, youth organizations, and coaches for childrens sports. Cost (includes student textbook) $55.00 Family & Friends This is a non-certification course and doesn’t require a written test. This class is ideal for caregivers, family members and friends of high-risk individuals. Learn how to recognize life threatening emergencies such as heart attack, stroke, cardiac arrest, choking and the importance of the “Chain of Survival”. Cost (Adult or Pediatric-includes student booklet) $20.00 Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens This is a non-certification course and doesn’t require a written test. This class is ideal for people with limited or no medical training who need training in how to protect themselves and their co-workers from bloodborne pathogens. Cost $20.00 The American Heart Association's Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support course is totally redesigned for healthcare providers who either direct or participate in the resuscitation of a patient, whether in or out of hospital. Through the ACLS course, providers will enhance their skills in the treatment of the adult victim of a cardiac arrest or other cardiopulmonary emergencies. ACLS emphasizes the importance of basic life support CPR to patient survival; the integration of effective basic life support with advanced cardiovascular life support interventions; and the importance of effective team interaction and communication during resuscitation. ACLS is based on simulated clinical scenarios that encourage active, hands-on participation through learning stations where students will practice essential skills individually, as part of a team, and as team leader. Realistic simulations reinforce the following key concepts: proficiency in basic life support care; recognizing and initiating early management of peri-arrest conditions; managing cardiac arrest; identifying and treating ischemic chest pain and acute coronary syndromes; recognizing other life-threatening clinical situations (such as stroke) and providing initial care; ACLS algorithms; and effective resuscitation team dynamics. Course Length: 8 Hours The course is designed for medical providers such as physicians, nurses, emergency medical technicians, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and other professionals who may respond to a cardiovascular emergency.
